Welcome to Kajabi.

Before Kajabi, entrepreneurs like you would have to spend hundreds and thousands of dollars wiring together different platforms to run your business. Today, Kajabi allows you to build and manage your website, courses, landing pages, blogs, email campaigns, contacts, sales tools, affiliates, and so much more all in one place.

Our goal is to give you the tools to build your business and share your knowledge for profit.

Today we’ll walk you through on how to bring a visitor to your website and convert them to a customer.

First, you’ll build a website page to promote your course. Then, this will lead to a sales page to convince the visitor to purchase your course. Next, they’ll be brought to a checkout page. And finally, they’ll be brought to your course or product inside of Kajabi.

The easiest way to accomplish this is by working backward. So let’s begin by creating your product by clicking on the “Products” tab. Next, we’ll go ahead and click “New Product”.

Here at Kajabi, we have given you many starting points to begin the product building process.

First, you can start with the mini-course, which is gonna be a bit of a shorter course. Or you can start with an online course which is gonna be a full course with many categories and many videos.

Next, you can start with an evergreen training blueprint which will allow you to release your content slowly over time. Or if you’d like to build a membership site, you can begin with our membership product.

For today’s training. Let’s go ahead and dive into the online course blueprint. You’ll notice first that we’ve built an outline already for your course. Now there is no content or videos uploaded. This is just the skeleton. But first, notice the course introduction category. The categories are used for organizational purposes inside of Kajabi.

Just like the What, the Why, the How, and the fundamentals category. Then you’ll see the posts in white, with Welcome to the course about your instructor. An outline in objectives. This is where we’re going to include each video or text or audio file that you’d like to use as a portion of your course.

Now here on the outline, you can do a couple of really cool things such as add a new category, add a new post, or move the existing posts within a category or to a different category.
You can also choose how you like to deliver this course to your members.

You can keep everything published, which will remain visible in their library at all times. You can drip it out over time. By selecting the number of days you’d like people to wait to begin to have access to this portion of the course.

You can also lock portions of your course which means that it will not be available until the determined post has been completed by the user or you can keep it in draft mode.

Let’s go ahead and dive in and really begin to add the content to our course. Here you get to choose which type of media you’d like to attach to this post such as a video or an assessment. You can also add a text portion which can be a transcript of the video or just text to supplement the video.

You can also choose if you’d like to keep it published or put it in draft mode while you work on it for a little bit. You can add an image which is a great way to brand your course. You can add downloads, such as PDF files or audio files.

You can choose the settings for your comments. And lastly, you can add an automation. Automations are great because you can trigger certain events once the post has been completed, such as granting another offer, subscribing them to an email sequence or adding a tag.

Now that we know how to create our product and our post let’s go ahead and figure out how to sell this product.

Go ahead and click on the offers tab. You can think of an offer as a price tag for your course and offer can hold many products as a bundle or just one. You can sell it as a one-time payment or as a multi-payment subscription.

Either way, we’ll begin by clicking “Add new offer”. On the offer screen. You’ll notice we have many of the same options as we do in products. You can add a title, you can add a description, you can choose to put it in draft mode while you work on it, and you can edit the price.

Here’s where you get to choose if you’d like to offer it for free, for a one-time payment,
for multiple payments such as two easy payments of $19.99, or a recurring subscription.
You can choose to have $30 a month, you can build them each month, each week or each year, you can add a trial period and even a setup fee.
Additionally, you can include multiple products. To turn this offer into a bundle, you can add an upsell to the end of your offer, or you can even add a cart abandonment email to go out if they leave the page while checking out.

Along with these, you have many other options such as restricting access to a specific amount of days and other options that occur after the purchase, such as giving an affiliate commission or sending the member to thank you page.

Now that we’ve created a price for our product. Now we need to get people to purchase it. The best way to do this is with our pipelines tool. Go ahead and click on the marketing tab. And that will bring you directly to the pipelines page.

Now you can think of a pipeline as an advanced version of a funnel. Do me a favor and picture a funnel in your head. You can imagine the large opening at the top leading down to a small opening at the bottom. This is because a large amount of leads can be turned into a small amount of customers.

Now with pipelines, the openings are equal on both sides. Meaning that the same amount of leads that come in will convert to the same amount of customers coming out.

To begin, let’s go ahead and click on new pipeline. Depending on your goals in your marketing campaign, we’ve set up a bunch of different blueprints for you to start from. If you just want to give a free report from an opt-in, use our free report pipeline.

If you’d like to collect their information and lead them to purchase an offer, use our promotional offer pipeline. Additionally, if you’d like to do a product launch a virtual summit or webinar, we’ve got pipelines for those as well.

For this training will go ahead and create a promotional offer pipeline. In this pipeline, Kajabi will create for us a landing page to capture their email. A sales page to convince them to purchase our product. And a checkout page.

On the pipeline’s page, you’ll notice that Kajabi has wired everything together for you. We’ve created the landing page to capture their email, which will lead to the sales page, which will lead to the offer checkout page.

Here you’ll also notice that when the form is submitted on the first page, it will subscribe them to the email sequence we’ve created for you. And lastly, when they check out, they’ll be granted access to the product that we attached to that offer.

And it’s as simple as that. If you’d like to customize it, you can add pages or you can add additional actions. Once we’ve created the pipeline. Now we need people to go through it. So let’s go ahead and connect it to our website.

First, copy the link given above. Then click on your website tab to get started. When building a website in Kajabi, we use themes. Now the current theme we have activated is the premier theme. And this will determine the design for your homepage, your library page, your login page, and other pages such as your blog pages.

To customize this we’ll go ahead and click the customize button. You’ll notice right off the bat that on the right side of the page, we have a preview of our website and on the left, we have a control panel.

First notice the hero section, the feature section, the text and image sections and the call to action section. If you look on the right and scroll down, you’ll notice that they line up with the sections on the page. First, we have the hero section we call this when the feature section
We have two text and image sections and the call to action section.

Now, these are sections that we pre-made and included in this theme for you. In order to add more sections and see what other options you have available for you, go ahead and click Add section. You can add sections like assessments, blog post feed, countdown timers, Facebook comments, another hero section, image sections, you name it, you can add it in Kajabi.

Today, we’re going to go ahead and choose the pricing options section. Once you click at once, you can preview it at the bottom of your screen. Then to add it in, confirm your addition to the page, Click Add.

Kajabi is a click to edit system, meaning that anything you’d like to change all you have to do is click it. So if you’d like to change this heading, click it and the left sidebar will change to allow you to edit that text. Same with this text and all the prices.

You can also do this for images, background images, as well as call-to-action buttons. Now, this is the call to action button we’re actually going to use for our pipeline. So simply click on the call to action button.

Move to the CTA action option and here you can choose this to go to a URL landing page sales page, a checkout page or even download a file. we’ll go ahead and keep it on the URL and paste in the URL we copied earlier. Then click “save” and that’s it.

You’ve officially created your product, your offer, your pipeline, and your website. Now when people land on your website, they’ll have the opportunity to purchase and access your course. Congratulations! If you need any help in any of these processes. Go ahead and email us at support@kajabi.com and we’ll be there to help. Thanks for watching.
